Pearl Jam, una de las bandas insignia de los 90, regresa el próximo 2 de mayo con un nuevo álbum, el primero de estudio en cuatro años. La formación estadounidense, que en las últimas semanas ha remozado su web oficial, lanzará su octavo disco, homónimo, a través de la disquera del magnate Clive Davies, J Records, con la que ha fichado recientemente.
Tras algo más de una década con la multinacional Sony Music, Pearl Jam ha grabado su nuevo trabajo, que ha coproducido junto al ya habitual ingeniero de sonido Adam Kasper (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters), en el Studio X de Seattle. Pearl Jam está compuesto por 13 canciones, entre las que figura Worldwide suicide, que ha sido escogida como primer sencillo.
Precisamente, este tema se puede descargar desde hoy de forma gratuita y en formato MP3 en la página oficial del grupo liderado por Eddie Vedder (pearljam.com). Es una canción libre de derechos digitales que se podrá compartir con otros usuarios en todo el mundo.
