Last summer Paramore released their new album called Riot!, and become the new step in punk-pop evolution. Why? A bunch of teenagers from Tennesse presented a collection of electrifying and danceable songs with a powerful visit card: their smash hit Misery Business.
Formed in 2004 by Hayley Williams (the sexy red-haired vocalist, pianist and guitarist), the Farro Brothers (Josh-Guitar, Zac-Drums) and Jeremy Davis (bass), they managed to get a nomination at the last Grammy Music Awards in the category of Best New Artist.
A success story resulting of their hard work since their formation. The New York Times and Spin Magazine praised their debut LP and talked about Hayley as a new rock star. Later, Kerrang! readers chose the band as ‘Best new group’ of 2007 and placed Hayley number 2 at the ‘the sexiest women’ magazine ranking. Even Britons considered this band as the upcoming group to consider in their special ‘New Noise 2007’ special.
Certainly, los40.com couldn’t miss the chance to talk and have fun with one of the best new bands in our musical scene. If you want to enjoy an advance of Riot!, just to click on the 4 tracks that we offer you of their last work:
